On Sept. 18 Jordan Mustangs traveled to Plevna for a volleyball game. The 5th and 6th graders played the first two matches; the nail-biting final score of the first match was 16-14 and the second was 6-15. The 7th and 8th graders played the next two matches, ending with scores 14-25 and 21-25. The varsity volleyball game followed; the first match was 5-25, then 11-25, and the final match was 7-25 with Jordan taking the win.

On Sept. 19, Broadus Hawks came to Plevna, where the junior high girls played first. The first match ended 5-25, followed by the second and third matches with scores 11-25 and 7-25. The varsity teams played next, the first match was 8-25, followed by another 8-25, and then 7-25.
