Lady Spartans vs. Cowgirls

On Sept. 14, the Baker Lady Spartans traveled to Miles City and went up against the Cowgirls. It was definitely a tough fight and ultimately these ladies lost in three games.

Varsity - (20-25) (18-25) (12-25)

Emily Shumaker had 1 kill and 2 digs. Harlee Graham had 2 aces. Mya Hadley had 1 ace and 1 kill. Peyton Janeway had 2 aces, 4 kills and 2 digs. Rilee Pettersen led in serving with 3 aces, she also had 1 kill, 4 assists and 2 digs.

JV - (13-25) (15-25) (8-25)

Camryn Collins had 1 ace and 1 kill. Eve Uecker had 2 kills, 2 blocks, and 2 assists. Faith Hansen had 1 kill. Harlee Graham had 2 kills and 1 block. Kacee Moore had 2 assists. Kaytlynn Gaub led in serving with 2 aces, she also had 1 dig and 2 assists. Makala Gallegos had 1 kill. McKenna Griffith had 1 ace, 1 kill and 1 dig.

C-Squad - (25-17) (25-18) (11-15) (15-8)

Saraya Afrank dominated in serving for the night with 11 aces, she also had 1 kill. Kaytlynn Gaub followed soon after having 7 aces, 2 blocks, 1 kill and 1 assist. Briley Gorder had 1 ace, 1 kill and 1 dig. Carlee Gundlach had 1 kill. Karissa Afrank had 1 ace, 1 kill, and 1 dig. Mallory Varner had 5 aces and 1 dig.

Lady Spartans vs. Dogies

The following night on Sept. 15, the ladies faced off against the Forsyth Dogies and traveled to their court. The Spartans lost in three games, but fought hard staying neck and neck. The first two sets were extremely close. The Lady Spartans hope to conquer the Dogies next time when they come play here in Baker!

Rilee Peterson, Mya Hadley, and Eve Uecker all had 1 ace. Sady Harbaugh led in hitting with 8 kills. Mya Hadley had 2 kills, and 1 assist. Emily Shumaker had 4 kills. Peyton Janeway had 3 kills. Rilee Peterson set up her team for the night with 13 assists.

JV - (25-14) (21-25) (19-17) (7-17) (15-13)

Harlee Graham led in serving with 6 aces, and also had 9 kills. Kaytlynn Gaub and Alex Williams tied with 4 aces. Anika Ploeger had 1 kill, 1 assist, and 1 dig. Eve Uecker had 1 ace, 3 kills, and 2 assists. Hallie Flint had 1 kill. Kacee Moore had 1 ace and 2 assists. Kaytlynn Gaub also had 5 assists. Makala Gallegos had 2 kills. McKenna Griffith had 3 aces and 2 kills.

C-Squad - (25-15) (25-22) (15-8)

Tyaisha Dietz led in serving with 5 aces. Carlee Gundlach had 2 kills. Jessica Stark had 1 kill. Karissa Afrank had 2 aces. Kaytlynn Gaub had 4 aces, 1 kill, and 5 assists. Mallory Varner had 1 ace and 1 kill. Saraya Afrank had 2 aces and 2 kills. Teja Dietz had 4 aces.

Lady Spartans vs. Buccaneers

On Sept. 19, the Lady Spartans took on the Beach Buccaneers. The Lady Spartans proved their strength and beat the Buccaneers in 4 games.

Emily Shumaker led in serving with 4 aces and had 2 kills. Rilee Pettersen had 3 aces, she also had 4 kills and 18 assists. Camryn Collins had 3 kills. McKenna Griffith had 1 kill. Mya Hadley had 1 ace, 2 kills and 1 assist. Peyton Janeway had 7 kills and 1 assist. Sady Harbaugh had 2 aces and led in hitting with 9 kills.
