On Jan. 24, the Baker Spartans hosted the Lodge Grass Indians. The boys followed a close girl’s game with tip-off scheduled for 7 p.m. The game started with a battle, both teams working hard to get the lead, but the scoreboard showed a tie game at the end of the 1st quarter, 12-12. In the second quarter, Lodge Grass went on a run and the Spartans trailed by 9 at half. The second half showed another fight each team but Lodge Grass started pulling away in the third.
