Baker Boys Basketball hosted the Lodge Grass Indians on Jan. 24.

In C-Squad action, the Baker boys lost a nail biter with a final score of 50-53. In this exciting matchup, the Spartans were led by Guy Lesh, who had an impressive 14 points, followed by Nathan Schallenberger with 12 points. Bryant O’Connor finished the evening with 9 points, followed closely by Ethan Gundlach with 8 points. Rory Lingle contributed 4 points and Colin Lorbiecke had 2 points.

The Spartans were amazing in terms of rebounds, with Nathan claiming the most with 12 rebounds; Guy had 11 for the evening. Ethan pulled in 9 rebounds, while Bryant and Rory each had 5 rebounds and Colin had 3. Ethan pulled off 5 steals for the evening, followed by Guy with 3 steals and Bryant and Rory each had 2 steals.

The boys JV team had a bit more difficulty handling Lodge Grass, finishing with a loss of 49-61. Bryant O’Connor claimed high point honors with a total of 12, followed by Nathan Schallenberger with 10 points. Jory Miller put in 8 points and Ethan Gundlach finished the evening with 7 points total. Logan Graham contributed 5 points, while Guy Lesh and Jaxson Tronstad each had 4 points. Rory Lingle and Garrett Lesh each had 2 points.

Nathan and Ethan both pulled in 9 rebounds as they hustled to keep their team in the game. Guy was able to snatch 6 rebounds; Bryant had 5 rebounds while Logan and Garrett each laid claim to 2 rebounds. Bryant also finished the evening with 3 steals.
