The Scholastic Book Fair will look a little different this year, being conducted all online for students and parents to shop. The book fair starts on Dec. 1 and will end on Dec. 14. There are over 6,000 items and books to choose from and all orders will ship directly to your home. All purchases go to supporting Baker Public Schools, so don’t miss your chance to look for some awesome finds while also helping out our schools!

I interviewed some fourth graders this week about their reading interests in celebration of this annual event. Allie Shepherd enjoys any “funny” books and likes the opportunity to find new reads at the book fair each year. Kyra Counsell enjoys reading mystery books and finding unique toys and gadgets at the book fair. Lastly, Kenadi Croy likes to read adventure books and finding any new versions of these at the book fair is exciting to her.

Don’t miss out on this different but new way of experiencing the book fair this year! In some ways this is more convenient for students and families to take part in this event. Help your student connect with new reads, their favorite characters, series and more!
