Wednesday, November 11th we celebrated Veteran’s Day in honor of the men and women that sacrifice so much to protect our wonderful country. In honor of these people, the Second Grade Class and Mrs. Thielen in Band cut out paper poppy flowers to distribute to the Preschool through Fifth Grade classes and various other school employees on Tuesday. Mrs. Downing’s 1st Grade Class made cards for Veterans as well thanking them for their service and will send to the VA in Miles City.

Poppy flowers honor all living veterans and are a memento to our deep gratitude and appreciation. Wednesday, those who received the poppies pinned them to their shirts and wore them throughout the school day. The Senior Government Class made paper flowers and cards for our local Veterans. After making the cards, the students gave them to the FCCLA adviser, Mrs. Robertus, to place in goodie bags provided by the FCCLA Chapter. We thank every man and woman who gave so much to protect our country, and support those who are presently involved.
