Throughout the fourth week of November, Mrs. Phelps brought a festive twist to her PE classes. The students were ecstatic to fill in their turkey hula-hoop. The objective was to run back and fourth the long way of the gym floor, each time a team member would retrieve back to their hula-hoop and tie on a “feather”. The challenge was that Mrs. Phelps had the students executing one and two footed hops, skipping, bear crawling and crab walking across the gym. The students all appreciated the turkey contest, and the colorful outcome!
