Freshman, Danica Hanes has been working hard to receive her Microsoft Office Specialist Word Certification this year.
She first took her exam at the end of last semester.
In order for her to get her certificate, she had to take an hour long exam. On this exam, she had to score a 700 or higher in order to become certified.
The MOS program at Baker High School boosts academic performance and prepares students for college and future careers utilizing this system. The MOS certification is delivered by Certiport, a Pearson VUE business, and recognized globally as the premier credential for individuals seeking to validate their knowledge, skills, and abilities relating to the Microsoft Office applications.
The MOS is the leading IT certification in the world, with more than two million exams taken annually in 148 countries.
All enrolled students took this exam at the end of this past semester and Danica was able to pass with a score of 809.
