On March 12, the Student Council generously gave out popcorn to the Middle and High school students.

National Popcorn Day has always just been a day that was acknowledged in a “did you know what today is,” type of manner.

But this year, the Baker High School Student Council decided to recognize this national day.

Thursday after school, several members of the Council got together in the concessions stand to pop popcorn in order to pass out the next day.

On Friday during 7th period, Macy Varner, Sophia Dulin and Cooper O’ Connor took crates full of popcorn to pass out to the students around the school. Most kids were not expecting this and were pleasantly surprised to end the week with a salty treat.
