January 16, marked the end to the Speech and Drama regular season meets. At this last meet Tuf Ranum placed 12th on Lincoln-Douglas Debate and Hannah Goerndt placed 6th in Dramatic Solo. Bryce Shelhamer and Chloee Thurlow did not attend and Zachery Craig was unable to compete due to unforeseen circumstances.

While this is the end for the regular season, there are still divisionals and state. Divisionals will take place this weekend on Jan. 23. All members will compete, with the top six in each event going to state. Because the tournaments are virtual, state will be extended so that competitors can still attend school. State will take place Thursday through Saturday, on the Jan. 28-30. The rounds will be spread out between the three days.
