March 1 through March 5, students in classes K-10 participated in Jump Rope for Heart activities.

Elementary students were encouraged to raise money for the American Heart Association, seven students received donations totaling $662.

Liam Lane raised the most money with a total of $275.

Super cool prizes were awarded to the kids based on how much money they raised for the event. Mrs. Phelps organized activities for the P.E. classes to partake, all included jumping in some fashion. Students practiced their jumping skills using jump boxes and skip-its, performing power jumps, jumping jacks, hopscotch, horse jumps (hurdles), and hula hoop jumping. Each of these warmed up the students so that they see how far they could jump in the long jump, and how high they could jump in the high jump. Students enjoyed all of the activities and prizes!
