The elementary classes have been keeping busy with the end of the school year quickly approaching! The fun started in the second grade, where all the students that reached 50 AR points had a pizza party. After a brain-tiring week of Map Testing, the kindergarten through third grade classes cleaned the courtyard garden beds and had an extra-long recess with a surprise dessert of ice cream sandwiches. After reading stories about cowboys and the Wild West, students wrote their own stories and poems. Larry Dahl visited their class with his rope, showed his roping skills and told stories! Sounds like a great way to end the school year!
