Last week on March 14 and March 15, Baker High School BPA attended their virtual state competition.

They were not able to attend state in Billings like normal, so they made the best of it and even were able to enjoy bowling in Baker as a group.

Alissah Hickey, a senior competed in Payroll Accounting and Fundamental Spreadsheets (Excel). Camryn Collins, junior, competed in fundamental accounting, Payroll Accounting, Administrative Support Concepts, Management, Marketing and Human Resource Concepts, Digital Marketing Concepts, and Health Insurance and Medical Billing. Camryn and Alissah also did a team event which was Financial Analyst. Camryn said “I enjoyed taking the payroll accounting test and the fundamental tests.” Havyn Wilkinson competed in Fundamental Desktop Publishing and Human Resource Management. Havyn said she really enjoyed playing music trivia at the end of the day. The following students have qualified for National BPA with their placings at state. Computer Modeling - Karmen Headdress placed 5th, Computer Security - Alynn Albritton placed 3rd, Financial Analysis Team - Camryn Collins and Alissah Hickey placed 3rd, Fundamental Spreadsheets - Alissah Hickey placed 10th, Health Insurance and Medical Billing - Cheyanne Dame placed 3rd, and Digital Marketing-Camryn Collins placed 2nd. National BPA was scheduled to be in Orlando, FL but will now be virtual from May 5-9.
