Ruby Dianne Bruce passed away May 5, 2020 at Fallon Medical Complex in Baker, MT.

Ruby was born June 11, 1950 to Edward and Jeanette Burkle in Beach, ND. Ruby grew up on a farm north of Plevna, MT and graduated high school from Plevna. After graduation she moved to Billings, MT to work on her degree in business. After attending college, Ruby moved back to Baker. It was during this time that she met the love of her life, Gary Bruce. The two were married on Nov. 6, 1970 in Plevna, MT. To this union Lori and Troy were born. Gary and Ruby made their home in Baker, MT and raised their family.

Ruby had many careers as both an employee and owner throughout her life, most of them involving cooking or customer service. Throughout her life, Ruby’s family gave her the most joy. She loved attending events and spending time with her grandchildren whenever given the opportunity. Visiting with friends and family over a good cup of coffee was always a highlight for her and if she brought one of her baked goods, you were in for a treat. Ruby loved the fresh air and working with flowers was another activity that brought Ruby much joy. She treasured her husband, family and close friends.

Ruby is survived by her husband Gary; daughter, Lori (Bill) Kesinger of Baker; son, Troy (Amy) of Billings; grandchildren, Moriah, Javan, Jaron, Brennen, and Bailey; and brothers, Bob Burkle of Yukon, OK and Ted Burkle of Williston, ND.

Ruby was preceded in death by her parents Edward and Jeanette Burkle.

In accordance with Ruby’s wishes cremation has taken place and no services will be held.
