Louise Waller, 94, of Bowman, ND, passed away on Dec. 29, 2020 at the Southwest Healthcare Long Term Center in Bowman.
Funeral Services for Louise were held Jan. 4, 2021 at the Krebsbach and Kulseth Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Renee Johnson officiated.
Louise Miloff was born on Oct. 31, 1926 in Rhame, ND, the daughter of Chris and Hattie (Schauman) Miloff. She was raised on a farm 13 miles north of Rhame, ND. At the age of 17, Louise worked as a hired hand for several different families. In 1944 Louise was united in marriage to Dave Hovland and to this union, five girls were born; Harriet, Diana, Linda, Alice and Lorraine. Louise then later in life married Odin Waller and to this union three children were born; Henry, Selmar and Teresa. Louise lived her entire life around Rhame. Louise worked at the Rhame School as a cook, the Bowman Hospital in the laundry department and a local Bowman Hotel. She loved to tend to her yard making it look beautiful from maintaining her trees and planting flowers. Her house was always clean and spotless. She also enjoyed reading and playing guitar. She loved to bake and everything was always “homemade”. She would set her clocks a little fast so she was always on time. She loved her family dearly, but also knew how to be stern if needed.
Louise is survived by her children; Alice, Teresa, Henry and Selmar, ten grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Odin, daughters; Harriet, Linda, Diana and Lorraine, sisters; Lu Dickason, Linda Ferrell, Cathy Gorder, brother, Arthur.
