Kristine Kruger, 66, of Baker, passed away Sept. 17, 2020 after a short sickness. No services were held as to her wishes.

Kris was born Feb. 14, 1954 to Philip and Lois Peterson in Weiser, ID. She graduated from Baker High School in 1972. She attended Miles City Community College.

Kris met Robert (Bobby) Kruger, the love of her life in 1970. On June 23, 1971, they started their life together. On May 13, 1976 they welcomed son Doyle. On Dec. 7, 1977 they welcomed son Darcy.

Kris worked at a variety of different jobs in her life. Her last employment was the Baker School system as a custodian until her retirement. She enjoyed her co-workers and all of the children over the years. The children brought her great joy. She missed them all when she retired.

Kris enjoyed camping, fishing, gardening, playing cards and time with her family. Kris loved being a grandma.

Kris is preceded in death by her parents Philip and Lois Peterson, In-laws Earnest and Rose Kruger, sister and brother-in-law Shirley and Randy Martens, sister-in-laws Jean Schates, Nancy Kruger and infant JoAnn Kruger.

Kris is survived by her loving husband of 49 years Robert (Bobby) Kruger, son Doyle (Julie) Kruger, Darcy (Stacey Giggey) Kruger. Grandchildren Danielle Kruger, Ty Whisenant, Jessica and Nathan Kruger, Breanna Giggey. Brother and sister in-law Jim and Caroline Kruger, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. She will be missed by us all.
