Construction is continuing on the George Avenue Drainage Project, according a spokesman for the City of Baker.

“Buried utilities, a waterline break, and COVID-19 have delivered a few things to work around and we’re intent on maintaining progress,” the spokesman explained.

One out of the three contractors contacted is hired to replace the extended drainage area at the Lincoln School south property and one of three excavators is hired to help make up time on the trenching west to Second Street, the spokesman explained on the city’s Facebook page.
