On Tuesday, July 14, Vitalant blood drive went over their goal with 44 units of blood. This was a very good turn out and precautions were taken because of the fear of the virus.

If you have any of the following you do not qualify to give blood at a blood drive.

Do you weigh less than 110 pounds?

Are you 15 years or younger?

Are you ill or not feeling well today?

Are you taking antibiotic today for an active infection?

Have you taken Accutane, Proscar or Propecia in the last month?

Have you taken Coumadin/Warfarin in the last seven days?

There are also travel and residence abroad restrictions.

The next blood drive is scheduled for  Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2020.
