The City of Baker Council Meeting scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 18 was been cancelled and all business to be brought before the council is moved to the 7 p.m. Dec. 2 meeting.

According to a statement posted online by the city, they apologize for any inconvenience. Please call and leave a message at 778-2692 if needed.

The statement also asked the public continue to keep safe distances, mask if not able to maintain distancing, keep your circle of contact small and wash your hands. Encourage your friends, acquaintances and customers to do the same.

“It’s a matter of controlling the spread of the virus so it doesn’t get out of hand. Lets keep our kids in school, our businesses open and our community functioning,” the message added.
