Xi Alpha Nu holds a successful Holiday Bazaar

By Shannon Johnson

On Sunday, November 24th Xi Alpha Nu, a nonprofit organization in Fallon County, held their annual Holiday Bazaar at Baker High School. The doors opened at 10 A.M. as community members steadily poured in out throughout the day until it closed at 3:30 P.M.

This year the bazaar had plenty of vendors with a total of sixty-two different display tables for those attending to browse through and get some of their holiday shopping taken care of. The vendors expressed that they were pleased with the turnout of the event.

The vendors weren’t the only ones who were satisfied with the bazaar. The shoppers appreciated the variety that the event had to offer, boasting plenty of new vendors this year.

A fundraising lunch of turkey sandwiches, spartan tacos, and knoephla soup, and miscellaneous snacks was served by the close-up students.

Xi Alpha Nu also had a fundraising bucket available for the Fallon County Community Fund, a fund that gives back to the community by offering collected funds to families in times of tragedies and medical illnesses.
