Santa Claus schedules a visit in Marmarth, ND

By Shannon Johnson

Santa will be making a pit stop in Marmarth, North Dakota on Saturday, December 7th for the annual Santa Claus Days event, hosted by the Marmarth Ambulance Service, the Marmarth Community Club, and the City of Marmarth.

The doors to the Marmarth Community Center will open at 10 A.M. where you will find vendors to help you check things off your Christmas shopping list. Along with vendors, various businesses in Marmarth donated turkeys to be given away every hour on the hour.

The Marmarth Ambulance Service will be serving a free will donation lunch of chili and hot dogs, one of their most important fund raisers of the year.

Santa isn’t scheduled to arrive until 2 P.M., but Santa’s helpers in the Marmarth Community Club have some kid’s activities up their sleeves beginning at noon to keep the little ones busy until Chris Kringle’s sleigh pulls into town.
