On Sept. 27, the FFA Livestock Judging team was given the opportunity to practice judging live animals at Bruce and Tena Ketchum’s Ranch (Adviser Menees’s parents). They set up two pens of cattle for the students to judge. The first class was composed of four Red Angus bull calves with a final placing of 2341. The reasons class was four Red Angus heifer calves with EPD’s; the official placing was 4312. Afterwards, Tena Ketchum provided a wonderful supper of Indian tacos and dessert. A huge thanks to Bruce and Tena Ketchum and Mrs. Menees for providing this opportunity for our livestock teams!
