Join 4-H’ers around the country to celebrate National 4-H Week from October 6-12 this year!
Every year, National 4-H Week showcases the learn-by doing experiences that 4-H offers young people such as yourself and highlights the remarkable 4-H youth in our community who work each day to make a positive impact on those around them. This year’s theme, Super Hero’s in Training, is a campaign that will give kids more opportunities to do, empowering them with the skills they need to succeed in life and career.
Throughout the month of October MSU Extension Fallon-Carter Extension will be offering opportunities for youth to grow their superpowers. Activities will include the following:
Barn Ninja Challenge – October 27 – Ekalaka Event Center – 1:30 p.m. – Participants will be challenged to complete a course that will include wheel barrow races, mucking a stall and packing water. This will be a timed challenge and the fastest time will win!
CSI 4-H – October 12 – Fallon County Library- 1 p.m. – “CSI 4-H” will be a event that you won’t want to miss! Participants will be the detectives solving the crime of who stole the clover. Every sense will have to be used to solve this mystery!
