On Sept. 23 the Plevna FFA Livestock and Range teams headed to Ekalaka to compete in Fall Districts. The members started the morning with breakfast and opening ceremonies. Afterwards, the Range teams headed to the range site for the competition, which consisted of Plant Identification, Similarity Index, Animal Unit Month tests and Utilization, Plant Anatomy, and Soil Testing. When the Range competition was finished, the members headed back to the school for a lunch of sloppy joes. After lunch, the Livestock teams started their competitions with a team test before splitting into groups. While awaiting results, the members played a game of partner tag to pass the time. The FFA members then ended their day with an awards ceremony. Chloe Tudor placed 10th in Livestock and the Livestock Team placed 3rd. Congratulations!
