Fifth grade microscopes

By Alexia Wills

For fifth grade science, Mrs. Smith taught the class about microscopes. They learned how to adjust knobs and focus on what they were examining. Mrs. Smith also allowed the students to view prepared slides that had all kinds of fun specimens to view. The class looked at a locust leg, goldfish cell, canary feather, lavender and a pineapple hair. The fifth graders had an exhilarating time and said it was a very cool Science class.
