Arnold T. Uecker, 77

Arnold T. Uecker passed away on Sept. 18, 2019 after a long battle with CHF. He was born on Jan. 9, 1942 to Arnold H. Uecker and Margaret Schwindt Uecker. He received his education in Baker, MT and Yakima, WA.

“Arnie” was proud to have served in the U.S. Marine Corp where he was a sharpshooter. Residing in Billings after his discharge he became well known in the trucking industry as he was employed by Cummins for 40 years, retiring in 2012.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Sharon Setinc Krell and their six children: Randy Krell (Lorrie) of Billings, MT; Kim Hayes of Billings, MT; Scott Uecker of Concord, CA; Spencer Uecker (Stephanie) of Dayton, WY; Steven Krell of Billings, MT; Stacy Uecker (Brooke) of Billings, MT; two sisters: June Lee (Fred) of Spokane, WA and Barbara Etchieson (Larry) of Selah, WA; four brothers: Kelly Uecker (Brenda) of Baker, MT; Tony Uecker, Clayton Uecker (Linda), Bob Uecker (Gail) all of Yakima, WA; and 16 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers: Fred Uecker (Diann) of Wapato, WA; Scott Uecker of Yakima, WA, Herb Uecker (Teresa) of Baker, MT; and one sister, Shirley Leingang (Gene) of Yakima, WA.

Cremation has taken place and Sept. 26, is a celebration of Arnie’s life.
