State Tennis results

After a very successful season and an amazing Divisional showing, the BHS Ladies Tennis team traveled to the state meet with high expectations. But as we all know, state meets are highly competitive and often times the players are forced to face individuals whom they’ve never played. That was the case this year. Senior Tesla Erickson lost to Amanda Bergstad from Broadwater 3-6, 4-6, but then went on to win her next two matches.

Tesla defeated Adeline Hahn from Fairfield 7-6, 6-2 and then also beat Olivia Copenhaver from Fairfield 6-3, 6-3. Unfortunately, Tesla lost to Juniper Johnson from Big Fork 7-6, 2-6, 2-6; this loss knocked her out of competition.

The seniors double team of Madison Moore and Kelsey Miller had  a great start, defeating Macee Barry and Jaycee Frydenlund from Cutbank 7-6, 6-2. Despite their best efforts, they lost to Katie Giles and Megan Clark from Fort Benton 3-6, 4-6 and then were defeated by Kimber Schlapman and TeaAnna Rouse 4-6, 6-2, 2-6.
