On April 24, Baker had their Annual Health Fair, and this year National Honor Society members accompanied students in the first through sixth grades to the health fair. The students had the opportunity to look at different booths that included MedAir, the Sheriff’s Department, the Fallon Medical Complex, the Fallon County Extension Office and many more. At each booth, students had the opportunity to pick up free items. Some students participated in a scavenger hunt, while others had one specific booth that they had to see for answering questions. After everyone was done looking at booths, students had the opportunity to look at the Fallon County EMS Ambulance. They learned that EMS stands for Emergency Medical Services. Students looked at the equipment that was on board and even heard the sirens. Overall, the students had an amazing time and the Honor Society members were happy to be able to share the health fair with our elementary.
