BHS wrestlers compete at the Hettinger Classic

On the weekend of January 5, the Baker High School Wrestling team traveled to Hettinger to compete at the Hettinger Classic. Freshman Teegan Miller took 6th in the 113-pound weight class by winning his 3rd, 5th and consolation semi rounds. Senior Dalton Lecoe also took 6th after winning three of his six rounds in the 132-pound weight class. Freshman Bruce Higbee took 12th in the 145-pound weight class. In the 152-pound weight class, sophomore Avery Uecker took 6th by winning his 2nd, 3rd, and consolation semi rounds. Freshman Marcos Gallegos, who suffered an injury, was forced to forfeit due to medical reasons and finished 7th in the 160-pound weight class. Junior Ethan Reichenberg also placed 6th in the 182 pound weight class, with wins in his 1st, 3rd and consolation semi rounds. The team is headed to the Cowboy Invitational in Miles City this weekend.
