On Dec. 7, grades 6th-8th had a Winter Soiree. Mrs. Schumacher and Ms. Boyer put together a night full of dancing and games. All students were given a Santa Claus hat and glow stick necklaces and bracelets. Students brought in drinks or treats to snack on during the party. The “Neon” party had a dance floor where students were invited to request songs and dance. Tables were set up for other activities such as decorating cookies and holiday games. Some of these games included transporting pompoms into another bowl with a spoon in your mouth, building a Christmas tree out of cups, and sorting red and green M&Ms into naughty and nice piles. Students could guess how many M&M’s and other candies were in a jar to win prizes. Overall, the students had a blast at their Winter Soiree!
