Fire Department Rescue Training

Rescue training was held at the Baker Fire Department on Friday, Nov. 30 and all day Saturday, Dec. 1. Todd Olmstead from the Montana State Fire School was the instructor. The firefighters worked with ropes, confined space rescue, low angle rescue and scene safety. Saturday at 0841 during training, the department was paged out to a one vehicle roll over, mile marker 88 Hwy 12 east of Baker. The department responded with ten personnel, one rescue truck, one pumper, one command vehicle. The  Fallon County EMS and Fallon Couty Sheriff were also on scene.
