Albert “Al” Fradenburgh of Bismarck, N.D., formerly of Garrison, N.D. and Baker, Mont., died peacefully Oct. 27, 2012, in his home surrounded by loved ones.

Albert “Al” Fradenburgh of Bismarck, N.D., formerly of Garrison, N.D. and Baker, Mont., died peacefully Oct. 27, 2012, in his home surrounded by loved ones. A memorial to celebrate his life will be held Sunday, Nov. 4, 2012 at 2 p.m. at the Lakeview Baptist Church in Baker, Mont. Cremation has taken place and he will be interned in the Moose Creek Cemetery, Shevlin, Minn., at a later date.
Albert “Al” Fradenburgh was born at the family home in the Moose Creek Township near Shevlin, Minn., July 18, 1935 to George and Adah Fradenburgh where Al grew up on the family farm.
Al married Julia (Judy) McDonald June 23, 1956. Al worked in the residential and industrial glass installation business until he was involved in an industrial accident in which he lost his left arm in 1966. After the accident, he attended business school and earned an accounting degree. After graduation in 1970, he moved his family to Baker where he worked for various accounting firms and in the banking industry for the remainder of his career. Health issues forced an early retirement in 1996.
Al enjoyed camping, fishing, playing horseshoes, bowling, visiting with family and friends, and various kinds of puzzles. He was active in the Baker Jaycees and subsequently the Baker Lions Club.
Al is survived by his wife, Judy of 56 years; and his children, Steve (Connie) Fradenburgh of Baker, Scott (Brenda) Fradenburgh of Glendive, Cindy (Ernie) Scheetz of Baker, and Shawn (Dawn) Fradenburgh of Garrison, N.D.; ten grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one brother, Daryl; and one sister, Sharon.
He is preceded in death by his infant daughter Lorie; parents George and Adah; sisters Rosella and Nellie; brothers Allen, Raymond, Larry and Everett.
