Baker Police Department

•Feb. 6, 2017 – Feb. 12, 2017 – 20 Calls for service: 3 family/domestic disturbances; 8 agency assists (ambulance, sheriff’s dept.); 3 animal complaints; 4 traffic stops; 2 information reports resulting in ongoing investigations; ongoing preventive/proactive patrols of the business district, school and residential areas.

Justice Court

•Tanner L. Owen, Dillon, speeding on non-interstate, exceed day limit of 70 MPH, 79/70, bond forfeited $20, ticket issued 1/26/17.

•Darren Dean Baesler, Bowman, N.D., speeding on non-interstate, exceed day limit of 70 MPH, 78/70, bond forfeited $20, ticket issued 1/26/17.

•Mathew Dean Applegate, Beach, N.D., speeding on non-interstate, exceed day limit of 70 MPH, 80/70, bond forfeited $20, ticket issued 1/27/17.

City Court

•Kayla Renee Knutson, Billings, driving without a valid drivers license, fine $535 with $250 suspended on conditions for six months (8/7/17), jail of 90 days with 90 days suspended on conditions for six months, no violations of any local, state or federal laws, pay fine, fees and or surcharges as agreed/ordered, attend, complete, comply and pay for the WiseChoice Life Skills Course – Driver Responsibility, notify the Court/Counsel immediately (within 48 hours) of any change of address or telephone number during suspension/deferral period, ticket issued 11/4/16.

•Kelly Matthew Brown, Baker, fail to have vehicle equipped with 1 or 2 tail lamps as required, dismissed by Prosecution with prejudice, ticket issued 6/25/16.

•Kelly Matthew Brown, Baker, aggravated driving under the influence, 1st offense, fine $1,085 with $400 suspended on conditions for one year (2/6/18), pay public defender fee in the amount of $250, jail of 365 with 363 suspended on conditions for one year, jail to be completed by 3/15/17, loss of driver’s license by the state for a period of six months or to be determined by the state, attend, complete, comply and pay for ACT – Prime for Life course, to be completed by 6/15/17, no violations of any local, state or federal laws, pay fine, fees and or surcharges as agreed/ordered, pay back all court costs/restitution, $250 to the OPD, complete jail sentence as ordered, attend, complete, comply and pay for Chemical Dependency Assessment, education course and treatment, ignition interlock device, SCRAMx for a period of six months, seek and maintain employment, shall not enter any establishment where alcohol is the chief item of sale, shall not possess or consume any alcohol or illegal drugs and/or drugs or medications without a prescription, notify the Court/Counsel immediately, within 48 hours, of any change of address or telephone number during suspension period, ticket issued 6/25/16.
