   The weekend of June 3-6 the Baker Minors baseball team competed in the double elimination Dairy Queen Tournament at Miles City.

   June 3 at 2:30 p.m. Baker faced the Rex Soxs from Miles City and won 12-2. They finished  that day with a 11-0 win over Forsyth. This put the team in Saturday’s play facing the A’s from Miles City. With great defense and offense, the boys came out with a 10-2 victory. The boys then moved onto Sunday morning play at 9:40 against the Rockies from Miles City. They won this game 2-1 which put them into the championship game at 2:40 p.m. and Baker would face the Rockies again. The Baker boys came out with a 8-3 win for the championship.

   The team is coached by Bo Lingle and Chris Brawley.

   Home games this week are Friday, June17, at 5:00 and 6:30 p.m.
