Some 900 spectators were moved to safety beneath the concrete grandstand only minutes before the F-3 tornado took shape, then suddenly veered off to strike an unaware RV park south of Baker. It then raged off at 150 MPH to rip apart an unprepared eastside lake front neighborhood.
