Where is Shann Schillinger these days?
Former Baker High School football star Shann Schillinger, who graduated from BHS in 2005, went on to win the Tony Barbour Award as the best player that exemplifies Grizzly football at the University of Montana, Missoula. He was then selected in the sixth round (171st overall) of the NFL Draft. June 6, 2010, the Atlanta Falcons signed Schillinger to a four year contract. He ranked third on the Falcons in special teams tackles in 2010 and 2011. He played safety in the NFL for the Atlanta Falcons until he signed later for the Tennessee Titans on Dec. 3, 2013. He played one game for the team. Due to a previous injury, he was released by the Titans Dec. 13, 2013.
After NFL life, Schillinger was an assistant football coach at Nebraska. Today, Shann has returned to the University of Montana in Missoula where he is now a defensive back/safeties coach at the University of Montana Griz.
