Spartan basketball

   In the Spartans’ 16th game of the season (Senior Night), they hosted the Wolf Point Wolves and defeated them 65-50.

After one quarter, the Spartans held a four point lead, 17-13. The Spartans had a roaring second quarter as they out-scored the Wolves 21-10, and went into halftime up by 15 points with a score of 38-23.

   The second half started with the Spartans out-scoring the Wolves by four in the third quarter, making the Spartans’ lead grow to 19 points. In the final quarter, the Spartans were out-scored by the Wolves 19-15.

   The Spartan victory improved their record to 9-7 on the season.

   Aaron Smith had 1 rebound; Daniel Rost 4 points, 2 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal; Austin Braun 6 points, 4 rebounds, 1 assist; Joe Fisher 11 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists, 3 steals; Nic Bohle 6 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assists; Luke Gonsioroski 5 points, 2 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 block; Kadon Gentilini 4 points, 1 rebound, 2 steals; Brandon Bonomo 2 points, 6 rebounds; Josh Stutts 2 points, 1 rebound, 2 steals; Treston Erickson 4 points, 2 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 block; Zane Tunby 3 rebounds; Matt Packer 21 points, 9 rebounds, 1 assist.
