Robby passed away Nov. 18, 2015 at his home.
Robby was born Nov. 27, 1979 to Doug and Susan (O’Donnell) Cox. He grew up and attended school in Baker, graduating from Baker High School in 1998. At the age of 19, he was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes, which he dealt with the remainder of his life. For a short time he moved to Tucson, Ariz., where he helped his dad and uncle in electric car sales. Robby returned to the Cox Ranch where he made his home and followed his lifelong passion of ranching. Over the last ten years, he also worked at the gas plant as a pumper.
Robby enjoyed visiting with area ranchers and listening to their stories. He was a very kind, giving, and caring man. Robby always thought about others first. He loved all animals and they loved him back. He had a special bond with both his grandfathers. He looked up to them and would listen to their stories and absorb every word they said. He loved his heritage and learning anything new about his family history.
Robby is survived by his parents, Doug and Susan Cox of Baker; sister, Danae (Andy) Ethier of Bismarck, N.D.; nephew Grady; niece Rya; grandmother Virginia Cox; aunts Karen O’Donnell of Polson, Sharrie (Pat) Corey of Scottsdale, Ariz., and Lynn (Fred) Scott of Helena; uncles Jim (Jane) O’Donnell of Miles City, Ray (Mary Ann) O’Donnell of Glendive, and Bob (Karen) Cox of Gilbert, Ariz.; and numerous cousins.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Bob and Erna O’Donnell and Bob Cox; and uncle, Lou Davis; cousins, Aaron Corey and Janelle O’Donnell.
Per Robby’s request, he would like everyone to dress casual (jeans okay).
