The first meeting of the Red Butte Ramblers 4-H Club was called to order by president Nicole Allerdings at the Plevna Senior Center Sept. 27 at 4:30 p.m.

The American Pledge was led by Brianna Crisler. The 4-H pledge was led by Jaeda Paul. Roll call was answered with “Best new class of the year”. Anika Ploeger read the minutes of the last meeting, and they were approved as read. Caleb Ploeger read the treasurer’s report.
For old business, the club talked about comments on exhibits, judges, food booth, our float, and how thank-yous for the fair are going. The club also talked about Fall Livestock Judging and how cleaning the highway went today.
For new business, the club talked about ideas for the National 4-H Week window display. The club also talked about the upcoming event of Achievement Night Oct. 4 at 5:00 in the exhibit hall. Members were told to bring a main dish, salad, or dessert. The club will have Greytak calendars for the November meeting.
Election of officers for 2015-16 was held and they are: president Nicole Allerdings, vice president Haylee Barkley, secretary/reporter Jenna Paul, treasurer McKenzie Crisler, scrapbook Jaeda Paul, Sayge Barkley and Anika Ploeger, recreational leaders Chloe Tudor and Anika Ploeger, photographers Sayge Barkley and Olivia Gunderson, Council representatives Nicole Allerdings and Anika Ploeger.
The 4-H Council meeting will be held Oct. 21 at 7 p.m. The Livestock Committee meets Oct. 14. The county event will be chosen at the Council meeting. Jenna Paul and Chloe Tudor are on our club’s Livestock Committee. The club would like 4-H enrollments in by Nov. 1 to the Extension Office. Shooting Sports members have to be enrolled by Nov. 2. The meeting was adjourned.
