Plevna Schools dedicated to Red Ribbon Week

Red Ribbon Week is a week dedicated to informing kids about drugs and to prevent them from using drugs.

Oct. 26, Ms. Coon and her seventh period PE students passed out ribbons and coloring books to all the elementary classes, and the students who brought their ribbons back every day through Oct. 30 were given necklaces and suckers.

The group talked about what kids can do instead of drugs – such as playing outside, hanging out with friends, painting pictures, or riding bikes.
