So the old yellow cat is back on the porch
And taking charge of the place.
When the big black dog made a challenge
He slapped him right in the face.
The dog, perplexed, drew back a bit
The porch was his he thought.
Well never mind he guessed he’d share
And decide to fight or not.
There’s a reason the cat has only one ear
Whether to call it dumb or brave.
He fought for his place when already whipped
His own domain to save.
Never mind what you might think
The dog is still down under
He has found it more secure down there
Kinda makes you wonder.
Would he fight an intruder protecting me?
Well he’s only a stock dog you know.
I suppose if an enemy attacked It’s under the porch he’d go.
