BPA members Katie Ford and Jessica Paul, along with advisor Ms. Kirschten, traveled to Fairmont Hot Springs to a BPA Leadership conference held October 11 and 12.

The conference started with ice breakers and then the members learned about nonverbal responses and how much body language says about a person.
The attendants of the conference had the unique opportunity to enjoy a 102-degree outdoor pool when the temperature outside was 54 degrees. The girls met many different people and learned much about themselves.
Monday morning they discussed Torch Awards, member recruitment, fundraising, and ways to keep members in the BPA program. Overall, it was a great learning experience and those who participated encourage students to look into going next time.
