Microsoft Office Specialist Certifications awarded

The business department at Baker High School announced they have awarded five Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) certifications, an industry-recognized, standards-based credential for validating Microsoft Office skills. The five students who earned this award include RJ Crow (MOS in Word 2013 and MOS Expert in Excel 2013), Ashlee Stevens (MOS in Word 2013), Lacy Zumbrun (MOS in Excel 2013), Brady Varner (MOS in Word 2013), and Stephanie Heaps (MOS Excel 2013).

The MOS certification is recognized globally by academia and business as the premier credential for individuals seeking to validate their knowledge, skills, and abilities related to the Microsoft Office applications. The business department at Baker High School began offering the MOS certification in the 2013 school year to students in computer application courses, through their partnership with Certiport, a Pearson VUE business.
