DeLayne Robbins and Kim Cuppy from the County Health Nurse’s office, along with Karmen Bagley and Brittany Bertsch from Continental Resources came to talk to the K-6 students about bicycle safety.
They discussed that you should ride your bike on the side of the road going with the traffic. They also said to wear appropriate clothes and shoes, not sandals or loose pant legs. Bright colors make you more visible to others traveling on the same roads.
After instructing the children on great bike safety tips, they gave each of the students a bicycle helmet to wear while riding their bikes.
