Nine members were present and discussion centered around the Fallon/Carter Homemakers Spring council meeting, which we help host. It will be held May 27 at the Baker Senior Center beginning at 1:30 p.m. with the program in later afternoon being open to the public to learn more about grilling. The theme will be “Life’s a Picnic” and chef Tracy Miller from Glendive will present the program about knife safety and grilling meats and vegetables. Baker CowBelles will also conduct beef education. All are welcome.
Willard Homemakers will continue to present cookbooks to 4-H members with the most food entries at the two county fairs.
Our next meeting will be Wednesday, May 6, at 5:30 p.m. at the home of Peggy Smith.
