Bondell sentenced for knife threat

A Baker man was sentenced on April 7 to at least three years in prison after a threat involving a knife.

Clinton Bondell was found guilty in December 2014 of misdemeanor Assault, felony Assault with a Weapon and two counts of felony Criminal Endangerment stemming from an incident in a Baker business in December 2013.

Judge George W. Huss imposed consecutive sentences on three of the counts saying it was the intent of the Court for Bondell to be under supervision for the next 25 years. Judge Huss ordered Bondell to participate in mental health treatment throughout the entire period. Bondell is restricted from being in Fallon County for the next ten years, and if released, can only reside in a location that has an intensive supervision program.

The State was represented by Fallon County Attorney Darcy Wassmann.
