American Legion district spring meeting

Glendive – Mr. Jonathan Westenskow, Commander of American Legion Post #28 in Glasgow, said about 100 Legionnaires and members of the Auxiliary are expected to attend the spring meeting of District No. 10 Sunday, April 12, at the Post home in Glasgow.

Glendive – Mr. Jonathan Westenskow, Commander of American Legion Post #28 in Glasgow, said about 100 Legionnaires and members of the Auxiliary are expected to attend the spring meeting of District No. 10 Sunday, April 12, at the Post home in Glasgow.

Mr. Westenskow said there are about 1000 Legionnaires in District No. 10. The Posts are located in Miles City, Sidney, Glendive, Circle, Terry, Baker, Forsyth, Colstrip, and Ekalaka.

Registration will begin at 9 a.m. at the Post located at 105 N. Merrill Ave. At 10 a.m. the Department program will begin. A joint banquet will begin at 12 noon with Department Commander Roger Hancock of Lolo as guest speaker.

The District business meeting will begin at 1 p.m. at the Post. District Commander Bob Beals of Forsyth will conduct the Legion meeting. District president Esther Helmila of Miles City will conduct the Auxiliary meeting.
