Adele (Rost) Schlecht, age 95, of Poulsbo, Wash., passed away Jan. 23, 2015 at her place of residence in Lynnwood, Wash. Adele was born in Ollie, March 28, 1919, to Carl and Elsie Rost. She graduated from Ollie High School and worked in various areas of Montana as domestic help in private homes as well as ranches. She married John Schlecht in July 1941 and they resided in Baker. They had two daughters, Sharon Schlecht-Hibler and Patricia Schlecht, both in the Pacific Northwest area. The family moved to Poulsbo, Wash., the summer of 1962 where they purchased a five acre farm. They raised some cattle for a few years. The property upkeep became too much for them so they moved to town in 1990. After John passed away, Adele resided there until she moved to the Seattle area to a retirement home and then an adult family home.
Adele was preceded in death by her husband, John; parents and siblings.
She is survived by her daughters, Pat and Sharon.
Adele is at peace with her beloved husband and family and will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She was a great person and the best Mom ever
