Mrs. Isaacs’ fourth grade class participated in an art contest provided by the Keep Montana Green Association. The theme of the contest was “Think Before You Burn”. Each student created a poster portraying the importance of safety, prevention, and conservation when dealing with wildland fires.

The students’ submitted artwork will be judged regionally by the six Department of Natural Resources and Conservation (DNRC) Land Offices. The first three places will receive ribbons and their artwork will advance to the statewide competition. Top winners at the state level will receive monetary awards.

The fourth grade students enjoyed showcasing their unique slogans about fire safety on their colorful posters.
