A funeral service for Darrell Kramlick, 74, of Baker, MT will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, January 8, 2015 at Stevenson Funeral Home of Baker. Burial will follow in Bonnievale Cemetery.

Visitation for Darrell will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at Stevenson Funeral Home with a prayer service being held at 7:00 p.m.

Darrell passed away Monday, December 29, 2014 at his home in Baker.

Darrell DuWayne Kramlick was born September 20, 1940 in Baker, MT, the son of Julius and Alvina (Allerdings) Kramlick. He grew up in the Baker area attending school at Milk Creek School and Lame Jones before moving with his family to Billings in 1953.  There he eventually graduated from Billings Senior High.  As a teenager he worked as a mechanic at the Parkway Truck Stop and continued work there after finishing school.  It was during these years that he met the love of his life, Gail Klein.  Gail’s step-father happen to own and operate Parkway at the time.  On October 15, 1960 Darrell and Gail were united in marriage.   To this union two children were born: Debra and Rodney.  In 1968, Darrell and Gail moved back to take over the family ranch south of Plevna, where they raised their family.

Darrell enjoyed farming, hunting, camping and fishing. He was a past member of the Baker Fire Department, and served on the Board of Soil and Conservation District. Darrell was one of the founders of Plainsmen Search and Rescue, as well.

Darrell is survived by his wife, Gail of 54 years; one daughter, Debra (Scott) Veroye and one son, Rodney (Brenda) Kramlick both of Baker, MT; one brother, Larry Kramlick of Billings, MT; sisters, Jane McClintock, Lila Paulson, and Sharon (Ron) Wuest all of Billings, MT; four grandchildren, Mark (Kayla) Veroye, Dannielle (Jacob) Kraft, Bryce Kramlick and Chelsea Kramlick all of Baker, MT and one great-grandchild, Christian Kraft.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a granddaughter, Jessica Kramlick.
